Kumawood movie star, Frank Naro believes that recent ‘negative’ comments by his senior colleague, Oboy Siki, about Lil Win’s movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ might be a promotional strategy.
“As for Oboy Siki he’s my father but sometimes I don’t know but I think I need to call him and there are people who plan to do negative stories to promote something.
“Maybe that’s what Oboy Siki is doing to help in promoting the movie which is about to be premiered by Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin but I don’t know,” he said on Cape Coast-based Property FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com
Oboy Siki recently said on radio in Kumasi that Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win featuring Nigerian actors in his movie and allowing Frank Fiifi Gharbin to be one of the movie directors make the project a sham.
“But Oboy Siki cannot say that Frank Fiifi Gharbin is not a good movie director so LilWin involving him has made his movie not attractive because he’s won a lot of awards.
“He’s having a good record which proves that he’s a good director so if LilWin has chosen to work with Frank Fiifi Gharbin then I don’t see any mistake that LilWin has made.
“Aside from Frank Fiifi Gharbin, LilWin’s movie has gotten about 4 or 5 directors who worked with him on this project so I see this negative stuff to be hypocrisy,” he said in the interview.
