The President Of Conference of Head and Assisted Secondary School (CHASS) who doubles as the headmaster of T.I Ahamadiya SHS (T.I AMASS), Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar, has called on the government to provide all the necessary materials that will make teaching and learning effective for various SHS.
Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar speaking to the media stated that the provision of learning materials should also include infrastructure and its maintenance and other social amenities to make teaching and learning in school effective as the SHS 2 ‘Green track’ students have resumed school after two months of staying at home.
He further called on parents to regard their wards as their responsibility and provide all materials needed for their ward’s education.
“Government has provided students with textbooks for core subjects, so parents should also try as much as possible to provide textbooks for the elective subjects for their wards.” He added.
